Stephanie & Jonathan are such a sweet couple, and they couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day! They finished getting ready at The Watermark at Shully’s, and we loved capturing them open cards from each other- so thoughtful!
Soon it was time for the Kabbalat Panim. One of our favorite moments to capture was the Breaking of the Plate by their mothers. Their hug afterward was so joyous! Stephanie and Jonathan were so happy as they were surrounded by their loved ones, and everyone was looking forward to the Badeken. Having not seen or spoken to each other for the week before the wedding, their expressions in seeing each other were priceless!
After Jonathan lovingly veiled Stephanie, it was time for their Jewish wedding ceremony under the elegant chuppah. The two of them live in Las Vegas, and Wisconsin fortunately welcomed them with fantastic weather for their outdoor wedding. When Stephanie, her mother and Jonathan’s mother circled Jonathan seven times, many of their guests were moved to tears- how beautiful!
Ketubah in hand, Stephanie and her groom looked elated as Jonathan broke the glass, concluding their touching ceremony. The newlyweds were led to the yichud for some alone time before joining us for portraits. The area around The Watermark at Shully’s was a great backdrop with the cute Thiensville buildings, bridges, parkway/riverwalk and gardens. They were so thrilled to be married, and it really came through in their portraits :) Then we joined their wedding party for some pictures with the fun group before it was time to join their guests at the reception!
The rest of the evening was filled with moving speeches & toasts and lively dancing! Their two families really came together, and we loved capturing all the smiles and celebrations.
Congratulations, Stephanie & Jonathan! We’re so happy for you two, and we’re thrilled that we could both be your photographers! You’re a wonderful pair, and we wish you many happy years…
